Here are the top 5 reasons why employees feel negative:
- Your skills/efforts and contributions are not being recognized by managers or other staff.
- You’re worried about the future of the company and your position in it.
- Getting bored at work, due to lack of challenging work.
- Too much work.
- You feel that your manager or senior management lacks the ability to move the company forward and become more successful.
Just remember that positive people are like magnets. They attract other positive people and repel the negative ones.

I agree with your comments to some extent but also believe that negativity can be a representation of reality at times, thus to think positive could be a band-aid solution to something that requires negativity in order to motivate positive outcomes.
Well, I used to be a pesimist and all it ever got me was more negativity. I had some hard times in my life and realized that being positive is not all easy.
At times, I do end up feeling negative, but then try to stay positive and feel better. I guess this sums up your comment in a sense.
